Review: Sombre + Balayage Hair Color at Kenjo Salon

Review: Sombre + Balayage Hair Color at Kenjo Salon

Very desperately in need of a root touch up as well as toning my bright yellow hair color down, I decided to try out a new salon, Kenjo hair salon, after reading many good reviews on them. They are located conveniently at Plaza Singapura too!

Kenjo Hair Salon

Kenjo hair salon is a korean salon with a combination of stylists from Taiwan, SG and Korea.

Check out my regrowth! The lighter parts were from lightening my hair in Feb and the medium brown was from the pudding hair dye done end of April. I have about 3.5mths of black regrowth.

I wanted to do an ash shade to tone down the yellow from my hair as well as try out pastel highlights cause they’re so trendy right now!

Review: Wedding Solemisation & Wedding Dinner at The White Rabbit

Review: Wedding Solemisation & Wedding Dinner at The White Rabbit

If you’re thinking of holding your wedding at the White rabbit, the most important thing you need to know is that the White Rabbit does not provide a wedding planner (vs holding a wedding in a hotel where a wedding planner is quite commonly offered). What this means is that you will need to engage a wedding planner or get one of your bridesmaids or groomsmen to be the wedding planner. Another difference is that certain items like decor, projectors, etc, are also not provided at the White Rabbit.

However, that said, I still went ahead with the white rabbit because I really love their chapel like building and whimsical little garden. I’ve always dreamed of having a garden wedding!

My 10 step korean skincare routine (free of: parabens, phenoxyethanol, silicones, sulfates, alcohol, mineral oil) 2017

If you have read my previous article, you will know that I did a massive disposal of my skincare when I found out that they contained harsh ingredients that are not so good for our skin like; parabens, sulfates, alcohol, mineral oil, phenoxyethanol and silicones.

My previous 2016 post here:

My 10 step korean skincare routine (free of: parabens, phenoxyethanol, silicones, sulfates, alcohol, mineral oil)

I am so glad that us consumers are becoming more and more savvy about the skincare products that we purchase these days and we are starting to look into product ingredients carefully before purchasing.

I have only been using clean products that are free of parabens, phenoxyethanol, mineral oils, alcohol, silicones (really hard to avoid in moisturisers), sulfates, and etc. I am happy to say that my skin is really stable now vs its previous erratic self. Although I might get the occasional pimple from having too much chocolate, it has never been better in my life!

Searching for products that are free of the list of ingredients above hasn’t been easy. Products that label themselves as ‘paraben free’ may sometimes still contain phenoxyethanol. And it is super hard to find moisturisers that do not contain silicones.

After much searching, here is my 2nd compiled multi step Korean skincare routine!

The wrong way to clean a cats ears

I recently welcomed a new member to the family! Meet whiskers the munchkin!

However, he was less than 3 months old when I started to notice that whiskers was scratching his ears really often but I didn’t think too much of it. Until I saw chunks of fur around my home. My heart sank! He has been scratching so much that his fur started to come off. My poor little kitten is going to have bald patches ?! And upon checking the insides of his ears, it was filled with so much brown gunk!

Beauty Review: Ezn Pudding Ammonia Free hair color in Smokey Ash Beige

Beauty Review: Ezn Pudding Ammonia Free hair color in Smokey Ash Beige

Recently, my brown hair color has faded and turned very yellow. I wanted to tone the yellow down to something more ash, so I started the search for an ash hair dye.  I did some research online, and i chanced upon the Ezn Shaking Pudding Hair Color. On a side note, if one were to browse for hair dyes in a physical shop, I think they would have totally walked past the Ezn pudding hair color because well, the box looks more like jelly than hair dye!

They have so many different shades of ash to choose from, and all of them are so appealing, so much that I wanted to buy them all! On top of that, a bigger factor in my decision to pick this Pudding Hair Color is because it is AMMONIA FREE! Gorgeous ash color + Ammonia free? I was sold! (Maybe also the fact that it is a korean hair dye made me more bias towards it :P)

Beauty review: Neo Cosmo Queen 4 tone Contact lens in Honey Brown & Mystery Grey

I’m always on the hunt for new contact lenses (not because I dont like the previous lenses but) because I’m always itching to try new designs with better and improved specs. I personally like to purchase 6m or 3m disposable contact lenses cause I don’t need to keep purchasing lenses that frequently and also cause they are cheaper when divided out per month.

Neo Cosmo Queen 4 Tone

So I recently purchased Neo Cosmo 4 tone lens in both grey and brown, and here are the swatches

Stay in a Lava Cave with Private Cave Pool in Oia, Santorini | Greece | 2017 | Review |

Stay in a Lava Cave with Private Cave Pool in Oia, Santorini | Greece | 2017 | Review |

It took me some time to finally choose a hotel because, although quite a few hotels have really nice infinity pools, these are usually public pools. Also, most of the private pools end up being a Jacuzzi tub instead of an actual pool. After searching through numerous hotels, we finally found an accommodation that had a private pool. And what’s more, the private pool was a CAVE POOL.

I loved the lava cave so much that I figured I just had to have a blog post solely for the lava cave.
